They're very conservative.;[49:48.65]Larry thinks the President is doing a very poor job, but his parents don't.;[49:56.25]They think the President is doing a fine job.;[50:00.11]Also, Larry doesn't think the government should spend a lot of money on defense,;[50:07.46]but his parents do.;[50:09.57]They think the country needs a strong army.;[50:13.81]You can see why Larry and his parents never agree when they talk about politics.;[50:20.91]Politics is a very "touchy subject" with them.;[50:25.27]The Greens and their next-door neighbors, the Harrisons,;[50:32.37]never agree when they talk about child rearing.;[50:36.10]The Greens are very lenient with their children, but the Harrisons aren't.;[50:42.95]They're very strict.;[50:45.44]The Greens let their children watch television whenever they want,;[50:51.05]but the Harrisons don't.;[50:53.16]They let their children watch television for only an hour a day.;[50:58.02]Also, the Harrisons have always taught their children to sit quietly;[51:03.63]and behave well at the dinner table, but the Greens haven't.;[51:08.86]They have always allowed their children;[51:12.10]to do whatever they want at the dinner table.;[51:15.46]You can see why the Greens and their next-door neighbors,;[51:19.32]the Harrisons, never agree when they talk about child rearing.;[51:25.55]Child rearing is a very "touchy subject" with them.;[51:34.64]ON YOUR OWN: Same and Different;[51:41.24]In many ways, my brother and I are exactly the same:;[51:47.34]I'm tall and thin, and he is, too.;[51:51.45]I have brown eyes and black curly hair, and so does he.;[51:57.55]I work in an office downtown, and he does, too.;[52:03.91]I'm not married yet, and neither is he. I went to college in Boston, and so did he.;[52:12.62]I wasn't a very good student, and he wasn't either.;[52:18.48]And in many ways, my brother and I are very different:;[52:24.58]I like classical music , but he doesn't.
